This is a new series of watercolors painted from photographs I have taken in Boston.
I have always been interesed in cityscapes and have taken a lot of photos when I travel. It took a while to figure out just how to interpret these interesting scenes using their complicated structures, strong value changes and colors.
As I continue this series I will be posting the images.

Fresh Paint Gallery in Yarmouthport Massachusetts is an artist owned Gallery. I am a owner along with 5 other artists. We are a diverse gallery with award-winning artists from Cape Cod. This is our 10th year on Route 6A in Yarmouthport and we are proud of it.
Check it out and you will see Selma Alden's wonderful oils, watercolors and mixed media, Julie Blanchard's colorful Cape Cod Landscapes in oil and watercolor, Robert Mesrop's exciting watercolors, Ken Northup's strong Landscapes in oil and Ann O'Connell's wonderfully creative monotypes. Each person's artwork stands on it's own and shows the dedication they have as an artist to present excellent work.

I've worked in Jewelry Design, creating Silk Clothing , designing, painting and selling Needlepoint canvas. I worked the Ceramic League of Palm Beach at The Pottery Shed working in Earthenware Clay.
Now I am one of 6 artist partners in Fresh Paint Gallery, Yarmouthport, MA.
